Review and testing will cover the updated changes to the 2013 Food and Drug Administration Food Code, as well as purchasing and receiving from approved services, storage policies, preventing food borne illnesses, employee personal hygiene and the Hazard Analysis and Critical Care Point.

The recertification class will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, September 7, in the Training Room at the Macomb County Family Resource Center, 196 North Rose, Mount Clemens, 48043. The course fee is $75 and advance registration is required. To register, visit and search for Macomb County classes.

The ServSafe® Manager Book, 7th Edition and exam sheet, are not included with the registration. To order the book with exam sheet online, visit or check with your local MSU Extension Office to see if there are any in stock. For questions, contact (810) 667-0341.
